A Child’s Reflection provides a pre-school environment where teachers, children and families from all over the world come together to share their cultures and gain a sense of international awareness. Lessons learned and cultural activities shared create a positive environment filled with possibilities for long-term friendships. We currently have children from sixteen (16) different countries enrolled. |

Our philosophy recognizes that all children are individuals with a unique timing for
growth and development, and interests. Our developmentally based curriculum is
designed to build on each child's strengths. Our center creates an environment in
which each child can grow cognitively, physically, emotionally, artistically and
socially at their own rate. We are passionate about working with young children,
are responsive to their needs, and encourage them as they become increasingly
more self sufficient and independent. |

At A Child's Reflection, we use the Pinnacle Curriculum, which is written by a team
of early childhood experts and is designed to engage children in developmentally
appropriate activities. It is based on the works of Piaget, Gardner, and Erikson and
includes developmentally appropriate activities that adhere to NAEYC guidelines.
Pinnacle has clearly stated learning objectives to help facilitate learning in all
domains, but is flexible to accommodate varied learning styles and allow our
teachers to add their own projects from past experiences.
Through play, we also seek to promote the cognitive, emotional, social and
physical growth of each child within a nurturing atmosphere. We will also
encourage your child to develop an appreciation for the arts by offering many types
of enrichment programs. Another cornerstone of our curriculum is a commitment to
help children develop self esteem while encouraging independence and
emphasizing concern and respect for one another.

A Child’s Reflection believes that the arts can help young children gain
fundamental academic and social skills, making them more confident and overall
better life-long learners. We have many types of these programs built into our
weekly lesson plans.
